Azita Ghanizada

Azita ghanizada has been featured on numerous TV series in the United States. She was a member of a family that fled Afghanistan and sought asylum in the US. Her birthplace was there. The family lived as a child in Northern Virginia and is the middle child of twin sisters. Ghanizada started her career in television by appearing in National Commercials. Ghanizada received a nomination for the best actress in the 2004 film festival for her performance in the Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. In the film, she played the role of Chiara. Her appearances on TV include series like How I Met Your Mother, Entourage Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. She most recently had a supporting role in the science-fiction action film Blood Shot (2009) and the independent comedies You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first seen in 2008 as a cast in General Hospital's premiertime spin-off, General Hospital. Season 2 of General Hospital, Night Shift, Ghanizada played Dr. Saira Bhatra a holistic doctor.
